Now you can run without mouse in MSX and use on PC with same menus
MSX Home video is a video CD with EVA code. It's a new experience with new MSXs configurations using Sunrise IDE or Mega SCSI devices.
This CD is not an commercial product, it's a especial media to only MSX computers.
Very little people have necessary configuration to run this media in world, unfortunately.

The results with this experience is amazing. EVA code is today our "DIVX;)".

You must have a 2+ with 128 mapper, mouse (optional), IDE controler with CD-Rom drive. To listen sound on MSX 2+ you need a MSX Audio or COVOX circuit conected in paralel printer output.
If you have a TR, so, you need an Sunrise IDE or Mega-SCSI device and an mouse (optional) only.
Maybe happen problems with mega-scsi because the eva player. The Eva player to scsi not have new versions, the update is stop till now.
The evaide player has many updates currently.

MSX Home Video is totally in graphic ambient using all power of screen 12.
You can choice any category or other options with CD informations or sets.
The MSX Home Video #1 has 38 videos EVA with over 60 min.

In any catagory selected you can watch any video with a simple click on the virtual monitor.
By clicking on MAIN option you will back to main window.
The MSX home Video #1 has a documentary with interview and presentations about MSX systems.

Option FILMS have many trailers, comedy, curiosity and others public videos.

All CDs have some softwares and utility too.
Softs to MSX and PC system.
MSX Home Video #1 contains the MSX windows 2000 instalation and AVI2EVA converter to PC.

In the setup option you can set the device type, and if you have an IDE, you will can set audio, sync or VDP type in order to watch the videos. It's only possible with Sunrise IDE device because the new soft EVAIDE 0.9.

The MSX Home Video #2 has 18 videos, 10 complete videos-clip, the MSX X PC500 test and other animations and best film trailers.

COVOX CIRCUIT

   Look the sugestions to resistors association with
comercial values:

640K = 560K + 82K
320K = 220K + 100K
160K = 150K + 10K
80K = 82K
40K = 39K or 39K + 1K
20K = 18K + 2,2K
10K = 10K
5K = 4,7K + 330R

   The 100nF capacitor value modify the bass equalization.
   You can put a 10nF capacitor between negative and
resistors union to reduce noise if necessary.
   Covox is a DA converter used in EVAIDE player to play sound with MSXs without PCM or MSX Audio.
    MSX Audio is a good sound device but is not easy to find.
    To use covox circuit is a great idea by Sergio Guerrero, EVAIDE author.
    It's very easy to make this and very cheaply, it's a good alternative.
    The final sound quality is very good. You can even connect in amplifier.
